Two people charged in Maury County arson investigation
MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A joint investigation by special agent fire investigators with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Mount Pleasant Fire Department, and the Mount Pleasant Police Department has resulted in the arrest of two people in connection to a residential fire that occurred in January.
According to the TBI, on January 28th several of the departments investigated a fire that had happened at a home along Wall Street in Mount Pleasant, while it was under construction.
Due to their finding, they say Amos Wall and Nashlee Mitchell have been charged with Aggravated Arson.
On Wednesday, both subjects were charged by the Maury County Grand Jury
Wall’s charges include:
Two counts of Aggravated Arson
One count of Arson
two counts of Aggravated Burglary
Wall is being held on a $500,000 bond.
Mitchell charges include:
Two counts of Criminal Facilitation of Aggravated Arson
Mitchell is currently incarcerated at the Giles County Jail on unrelated charges.
Once she’s transported to the Maury County Jail where she will be booked in on $200,000 bond.
