Traffic backup on I 75 around Dalton

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Traffic has been extremely slow today on I 75 around Dalton.

Road construction has led to backups in all lanes headed south towards Atlanta.

Traffic was backing up from Tunnel Hill through the first Dalton exit as of noon.

The construction will continue for the rest of the day.
