No injuries reported following trailer fire at storage facility

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — On May 2, 2026, Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to a trailer fire located at 7327 Hixson Pike at Free Up Storage, according to the Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security.
They say at 5:15 pm, Dallas Bay fire officials arrived on the scene and reported a utility work trailer with heavy smoke and fire.
Firefighters established water supply and extinguished the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Chief Markus Fritts with the Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department, reported the cause of the fire was an electrical failure inside the work trailer.
Minor damages were reported following the incident.
