Rhea County girls basketball coach indicted on child sex abuse charges

Rhea County schools have fired their girls basketball coach after he was indicted on child sex abuse charges.

Tracy Vest faces three counts of sexual battery by authority figure involving a minor.

The allegation was that he touched the victim inappropriately.

Investigators say the incidents happened back in March.

School officials tell us that Vest left the school system several months ago.

Vest has been released on bond.
