Surge Returns to Local Stores This Week
Chattanooga (WDEF) – Like your favorite 90’s rock band, Surge is holding a reunion tour beginning this week.
The former "energy" drink, was supposed to challenge Mtn Dew.
But the citrus-flavored drink always had a hard-core fan base.
After years of lobbying, Coke brought back surge last year online.
This week the soft drink hits stores shelves in the eastern third of the country, at specialty locations.
The Surge website lists Chattanooga State’s Cafeteria and the Elder Ace Hardware in Chickamauga as locations selling Surge.
