NC mother faces child abuse charge after child tests positive for illegal drugs

A mother in North Carolina faces a charge of child abuse after a child tests positive for illegal drugs.
Samantha Dale Dockery was arrested in Cherokee County last week.
The charges come from a child custody case.
Social Services have drug tested the one year old after visitations with Dockery.
When she was with her father, she was clean.
But after visiting Dockery, the child tested positive for meth, amphetamines and THC.
She also faces three counts of exposing a child to controlled substances.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed.
