12 lbs. of meth, two kilos of cocaine seized following two local investigations
Two separate Chattanooga Police Department narcotics investigations concluded this week with the arrest of three men on multiple drug and weapons charges and the seizure of a substantial amount of illegal drugs and firearms, according to CPD.
The say the first involved a long-term CPD narcotics unit investigation involving months of investigative work, assistance from CPD’s Gun Team and Neighborhood Policing officers, a traffic stop, and a search warrant.
This resulted in two arrests and the seizure of nearly 12 pounds of meth, more than 300 grams of fentanyl, ecstasy, oxycodone pills, eight handguns (two stolen), a vehicle, and a substantial amount of drug paraphernalia.
They also say the second, a stop of the suspect and subsequent search warrants, led to the arrest of the suspect and the seizure of more than two kilos of cocaine, over a pound of fentanyl, meth, two firearms, a significant amount of cash, a brick press, and more drug paraphernalia.
All three suspects are in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
