CFC Lads Work Out on New Soccer Pitch at Lookouts Erlanger Park
Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) If they can put ice in a basketball arena for hockey, why can’t they add more grass to a baseball field for soccer.
The Chattanooga Lookouts new Erlanger Park has been transformed into a soccer pitch for the CFC’s July 4th match on Saturday night.
The mound is gone, and sod was placed over the dirt base paths.
O
ne of the goals will be near first base, while the other will be near the berm in the outfield.
Kind of has that 70’s retro feel when NFL teams used to play games in baseball stadiums.
CFC was out testing the new field on Thursday.
They’ll host Inter Miami at 7:30 on Saturday night.
