House suffers minor damage after truck catches fire nearby

A house was saved on the Fourth of July when Catoosa County Fire Department firefighters extinguished a truck fire.

Calls to Catoosa County E-911 reported a pickup truck parked next to a house on Cummings Lane was on fire.

They say firefighters from stations 1,3,6,7 and command staff arrived to find the pickup fully involved with damage showing on the exterior siding of the house.

Firefighters had the fire out in minutes before it could further damage the home, according to the Catoosa County Government.

No injuries were reported.
