Police charge suspect in Hwy 153 road rage shooting case
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have made an arrest for a shooting two weeks ago on Highway 153.
A 15 year old male was shot in the early morning hours of June 26 near the dam.
At the time, police believed it was a road rage incident.
The victim was a passenger in a vehicle on 153.
Investigators have now charged 46 year old Jeffrey Brooks with the shooting.
He faces two charges of attempted first degree murder, reckless endangerment, a gun charge plus tampering with or fabricating evidence.
