Two dead in suspected murder-suicide at Cleveland residence

A husband and wife are dead from an apparent murder-suicide after being found inside a residence, according to the Cleveland Police Department.
They say on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at approximately 3:25 p.m., officers with the Cleveland Police Department responded to a residence located on Barker Lane NW.
Officers discovered two individuals deceased inside the residence from apparent gunshot wounds.
The deceased have been identified as Holly Jarrett and her husband, Stanley Jarrett.
They say the preliminary investigation indicates that Holly Jarrett died from a single fatal gunshot wound.
Investigators have determined that Stanley Jarrett sustained a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Based on the evidence collected at the scene, investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
