Milling and paving scheduled for Hixson Pike

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Milling and paving operations have been scheduled to take place on Hixson Pike.

Chattanooga Public Works says starting Monday, July 20, 2026, milling and paving will occur on Hixson Pike between Hamill Road and the Highway 153 interchange.

During the work, temporary lane closures are possible.

These closures for the work will take 4 days.

Drivers are encouraged to expect delays and exercise caution.
