Mocs Head Into Bye Weekend After Two Impressive Games

Chattanooga has looked like a top ten team in their last two games, beating Samford 31-21 and then Presbyterian 21-0.
As the Mocs head into their bye weekend, head coach Russ Huesman says the defense has fueled the impressive showings.
"To hold Samford to 313 yards and then last week 117 yards to Presbyterian. We’re playing better on defense. I don’t think we’re where we want to be or need to be for the stretch run here, but obviously, that’s a big part of it."
Added quarterback Jacob Huesman,-"We’ve kind of come together more as a team and played better team football as far as the defense pick the offense up, and the offense pick the defense up."
UTC returns to action on October 10th as they host Furman.
