Drug Deal Ends in Shooting

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Chattanooga police are investigating the case of a man who showed up at a local hospital early Thursday morning with a gunshot wound.

22 year old Richard Ogden first told investigators that he was shot during a carjacking.

But they say he later admitted he was buying drugs from two women, who shot him and tried to take his vehicle.

He said he me them in the parking lot of a McDonalds on Rossville Boulevard and he was shot on Dorsey street.

Ogden was treated for a non life threatening wound and then arrested on other outstanding warrants.
