Cleveland (WDEF) WOOP F-M’s third annual Patty Grissom Alzheimer’s Marathon wrapped up on Friday.
Radio Host Mark Grissom broadcasted for 30 straight hours, all to raise awareness of the disease.

It began as a way to honor his mother Patty.
She died from Alzheimer’s five years ago.
All of the money raised during the 30 hour live broadcast will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Grissom told us "it is a long time to be on air we seem to want to get it bigger and better every year the first year we were on we went 24 hours last year we went 27 and a half and this year we are going 30 hours live to try and raise 30 thousand dollars for alzheimer’s"
