Lee Student Accused of Making Threat Out On Bond

Cleveland (WDEF) – 18 year old Nigerian student Olayinka Opaso is free on bond following his first hearing on Wednesday since being charged with posting a threat against Lee University.

Cleveland Police say he threatened to kill 53 Lee University students and injure 59 others.

Our media partner, the Cleveland Daily Banner reports that Opaso got a $75,000 bond.

He faces a charge of commission of an act of terrorism that could get him up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
