Woman steals car with two kids inside

Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk says the kids were ages 5 and 7.

East Ridge Police were called about a suspicious black vehicle at Camp Jordan driving recklessly in the area of the playground.

Officials say stopped and let the kids out in the grass by the playground.

They say she then drove through a fence before getting the car stuck.

She then stole another car and left the park.

Law enforcement then stopped that vehicle on Scruggs Road.

The suspect Melanie Moore was arrested.

She faces multiple charges in Tennessee and Georgia including auto theft and kidnapping.
