Breaking News: Lee University threat over; suspect in custody

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – Cleveland Police arrest a Lee University student for posting a threat to social media last week.
18-year-old Nigerian-born Olayinka Opaso confessed to a senior Lee University official about his involvement in the Yik Yak post describing potential threats to Lee University students.
Campus security immediately placed Opaso in custody.
The Campus Security Director transported Opaso to the Cleveland Police Department.
Police Department Investigators then interviewed him and charged him with Commission of an Act of Terrorism, which is a Class A felony.
Lee University personnel say extra police presence on campus brought attention to the matter and lead to the suspect’s confession.
Opaso remains in custody in Cleveland.
