Each year, he serves as the Masters of Ceremony on the big stage.
And this year, he broke out the lighted vest (courtesy of James Rogers) for the grand finale.
Cool Smoke of Richmond, Va., took home the coveted Grand Champion title at the 27th Annual Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue held Oct. 24 in Lynchburg.
The win marks the team’s second Grand Champion title in three years—no small feat!
As Grand Champion, Cool Smoke earns $10,000, braggin’ rights as winner of what many consider to be the most prestigious barbecue contest in the world, and the chance to defend its title in 2016.
