Missing Catoosa County girl

UPDATE: Officials says she has been spotted in Dalton, but they have not found her yet.

They’ve called off the search in the woods, but continue to look in Dalton.

Catoosa County, GA (WDEF) – Catoosa County deputies hope you might have seen missing 14-year-old Adriana Jordan Elmore.

Officals say she disappeared from her home on Buttercup Lane sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday night and 6 a.m. Monday morning.

Adriana has Asperger Syndrome.

Officials think she might be trying to "cross the mountain" based on statements to her siblings.

They believe she left on foot and went into a wooded area on the east side of Taylors Ridge and heading west.

She may be carryinga black North Face backpack.

Officals say due to having Asperger Syndrome, she might not speak if spoken to.
