Notre Dame High School vs. East Ridge High School
The rematch scenario continued Friday evening at Finley Stadium as Notre Dame took on East Ridge.
The Pioneers won the previous meeting 14-9.

It wasn’t long before the Irish were in the shadow of the Pioneers goal line.
Opening drive, Akil Sledge scores from three-yards out to make it 7-0.

It’s 14-0 Notre Dame.
Alex Darras to Cameron Wynn.
He hits the pylon.

Ref says yes.
21-yards to make it 20-0.
Darras looks for Wynn again in the second, and Wynn gets the jump-ball for the touchdown to make it 27-0.
Pioneers could use help from their star running back Traneil Moore, and here he goes.

Moore will race 54-yards for the score to make it 21-7.
Moore had over a hundred yards on the evening.
Later in the second, Eric Bennett to Jeremiah McKibben.
He slips past the defenders, and he’s going to the house.

Irish eventually led 29-14 at the half.

He gets loose and goes 41-yards to make it 29-21.
Game on.
But the Irish answered on their next series.

Darras had over 400-yards of total offense.
Notre Dame wins 55-27.
They advance to the state semis for the second straight year where they will play Alcoa.
