Man Rescues Four Children From Morning House Fire
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF-TV) – A baby served as a fire alarm Monday morning for a family in Chattanooga.
The baby’s cry woke up Johnny Robinson around 7A-M.
When he went to check, he found smoke and flames in his cousin’s room on 7th avenue.
He evacuated four kids, ranging in age from one to four.
The parents were at work at the time.
The kids are alright, but Robinson suffered minor injuries.

"In the process, he has smoke inhalation and his hair was singed…but otherwise he’s going to make it…it was a very, very close call."

The fire appears to be accidental.
There were no working detectors in the home.
