Will Your School Get Its Fair Share of Food City’s?
Chattanooga (WDEF) – Food City is bringing their School Bucks program to the Chattanooga area.
They will donate $100,000 to Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia schools.
But customers will decide how much individual schools will get.
Here is how it works:
— December 14- Feb. 26 – Local colleges, high schools, middle and elementary schools can register at foodcity.com to take part. You will get a code.
— School supports then can link their ValuCards (through that code) to the school they want to earn the School Bucks.
— Jan 4 – May 27- Customers buying $10 worth of Food City Exclusive Brands earn their schools 1 point. When the period is over, Food City will distribute their donation to schools based on how many points they have earned.
The brands you must buy include: Food City, Food Club, Full Circle, Harvest Club, Paws, ValuTime, Top Care, Rosario’s, Bistro Deli Classics, Academix, Domestix, Electrix, Easy Clix and World Classics products, as well as Kay’s Ice Cream, Terry’s Snacks, Lay Meats, Moore’s, Kern’s Bread & Cakes and Chuck Wagon Dog Food.
“We’re committed to the education of our youth and giving back to the communities where we operate,” said Steven C. Smith, Food City president and chief executive officer. “Our Food City School Bucks program is an easy, cost effective way for area schools to gain the dollars needed to purchase vital educational equipment and tools”.
