Mocs Basketball Team Enjoys Three Big Road Wins This Season

The Chattanooga Mocs basketball team may have more impressive road wins than any team in the country this year.
UTC owns road victories over Georgia and Illinois.

And then they added another huge road win over Dayton on Saturday.
Chattanooga won 61-59, snapping Dayton’s 26-game home winning streak.
The Mocs pulled off the win without leading scorer Casey Jones, who sat out with an ankle injury.
Head coach Matt McCall says the Mocs are truly road warriors this season.

"I think it helps when you have a veteran team. Those guys have been in environments like that before. Like I said during the Dayton game, I never felt like we got rattled because of the crowd. Same thing at Illinois. They had an unbelievable environment. Things get really, really difficult, those guys tend to come together. That’s exactly what they did the other day with Casey. We lost Casey, and those guys came together. They hurt for their teammate. They were upset for their teammate, but they really wanted to go out and win the game."
Mocs are back home Tuesday at 7pm against Tennessee Tech. Casey Jones is expected to miss Tuesday’s game as well with his ankle injury.
