Mocs Hope to Bring the Energy For Weekday Afternoon Contest
Chattanooga-(WDEF) The Mocs basketball team still has one more game before the Christmas break.
UTC entertains Radford Tuesday afternoon at three.
If the Mocs win, they’ll push their record to 10-2 for the first time in over twenty years.
Radford may not sound like a big opponent, but the Highlanders have already beaten Georgetown and Penn State this season.
Tuesday’s game tips a three o’clock.
Given a rare weekday afternoon contest with no students on campus, will UTC bring the necessary energy?
Head coach Matt McCall believes they will.
"We played a game at 11am in Destin, Florida with six or seven people in the stands. Our energy level is one of our best offensive games all year against Alabama State. Our energy level was great from the tip. Pre-game meal was at 7am, and the game was at eleven. So there was no concern as a coach there."
