Mayor Andy Berke Explains His New Bullying Directive

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Mayor Andy Berke has issued a new directive on bullying at Chattanooga recreational programs.

He released it on Monday in light of the bullying accusations in the Ooltewah High basketball rape investigation.

The mayor told our Joe Legge on News 12 This Morning that he wants to make sure the same situation doesn’t happen in city programs.

"My first instinct as a parent is to protect my kids.. anyone who is reading the paper these days should be horrified by what they read."
