Amidst Tighter Security Ross Anderson Held Without Bond

Cleveland (WDEF) A judge on Monday ordered that Ross Anderson be held without bond for the murder of his girlfriend and her young son.

Anderson made his first court appearance after the December 6th shootings.

He is accused of killing 30 year old Rachel Johnson and her four year old boy.

In court today, prosecutors said Anderson shot Johnson first, then her dog, and then walked into the bathroom and shot the boy in the head while he was taking a bath.

They also say that Anderson confessed the murders to TBI and other officials.

This is a capital murder case, meaning he could face life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.

The hearing was delayed until the very end of the docket because of security concerns.

The judge heard the case in an empty courtroom, surrounded by extra security, for Anderson’s safety.
