Downed Trees Creating Havoc on Lookout Mountain

The police chief reports at least 20 downed trees early Friday from wind and freezing rain and fog.

The hardest hit area is in the 200 block of Richardson Street.

Hundreds of residents are without power as a result and EPB crews are having a hard time getting to the affected areas.

Lookout Mountain Elementary called off classes for the day as a result.
