Latest Chattanooga shooting investigation

The victim 31-year-old Andrew A. Collins went to a Georgia hospital Thursday morning to be treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The hospital notified Chattanooga Police.

Collins told police he was shot in an apartment off of Brainerd Road.

They went to 3939 Manor Road, but didn’t find a crime scene.

Collins told police he met a girl through a dating website and had got to the apartment to meet her.

He says an unknown man appeared in the room and shot him.

Police say Collins would not give them any more information about what happened.

Police hope the public will be able to help them with their investigation.
