Whitfield County EMA giving away free weather alert radios on Monday

Varnell, GA (WDEF) – The Whitfield County Emergency Agency wants to make sure you’re prepared in the event of severe weather. This Monday, February 1st, officials will be giving out 200 weather alert radios on a first-come, first-served basis.
It’s happening at the Varnell Community Center from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Limit one per household with proof of residency.
