Chattanooga Police investigate Check into Cash robbery

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police investigate a Monday evening robbery at the Tennessee Avenue Check into Cash.

The clerk told police the suspect forced the clerk to the back of the store with a pistol, and then tied the clerks hands and feet with rope after taking the store’s money. The clerk said the suspect threatened to shoot if any alarms went off.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

He’s described as a slender male, standing about 6’0″ tall with a tear drop tattoo under his left eye and the letters “N.Y.” on the left side of his neck.
