Five McCallie Athletes Sign College Scholarships

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Wednesday kicked off the spring signing period for high school recruits, and it proved to be a busy morning at McCallie. The Blue Tornado had five young men sign college scholarships.
The party of five enjoyed a signing ceremony this morning at McCallie.
Emerson Brock is headed to Berry College for soccer.
Brock Herring is going to LeHigh to wrestle.
Judah Duhm will wrestle out west at Stanford.
Basketball player Henley Edge is going to the University of Alabama at Huntsville, where he’ll be joined by teammate Max Shulman.
Both players said they felt at home at UAH.
Said Edge:”Pretty big deal for me. I know I’m going to a great program. Really excited about that. Getting to go play at a place that I think has a really cool culture, and that I will fit in with really well.”
Reporter:”What kind of sold you on the school?”
Said Shulman:”I mean the playing style. I shoot a lot of three’s and pass. They’re really similar. Coaches are great. Close to home. It’s just the perfect fit really.”
