Dalton Police investigate shooting at towing company office

UPDATE: Investigators now believe the shooting was a suicide

UPDATE: Police say the victim in the shooting has died.

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Dalton Police are investigating an apparent shooting East Morris Street.

It is on the lot of A1 Towing & Recovery.

They were called at 12:30 PM with a report that the shooting victim was found in an office.

The male victim was transported to Hamilton Medical Center.

Dalton Police are currently on the scene investigating what happened.
