“Bringing Tap Back” Launches Campaign in Chattanooga
Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Tennessee Clean Water Network, along with the City of Chattanooga, launched the “Bringing Tap Back” campaign today.
The campaign is state-wide and focuses on making water more easily accessible and to encourage residents of Tennessee to cut one sugary beverage from their diet every day and replace it with water.
“The goal is to provide drinking water for people who are active outdoors and at recreational centers,” said Renee Hoyos, executive director of Tennessee Clean Water Network.
Water bottle refill stations were installed around the Scenic City.
Those areas include:
-Carver Youth and Family Center
-Avondale Youth and Family Center
-Eastdale Youth and Family Center
-Coolidge Park
-East Lake Youth and Family Center
-South Chattanooga Youth and Family Center
-Ross’s Landing
-University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
