Son charged with shooting father in Soddy Daisy

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Hamilton County investigators have made an arrest in the shooting Wednesday night in Soddy Daisy.

The suspect is the son of the victim.

Deputies found John D. Everett with a gunshot wound before at the home before midnight.

The Sheriff’s Department says he is still undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Detectives have charged 24 year old Jacob Logan Everett with the shooting and charged him with domestic aggravated assault.
