Dalton Beats Johns Creek 3-2 For Soccer State Title

The Dalton high school soccer team claimed their sixth state championship on Friday night in Powder Springs, Georgia. They beat Johns Creek 3-2 for the Class 6A state title. The Gladiators scored less than three minutes into the match to make it 1-0. Dalton then got goals from Fernando Guerrero and Filemon Quinterro to go up 2-1 at halftime. The Catamounts scored right out of the gate in the second half, and then they held off the Gladiators for the 3-2 victory.
