Lookouts Rally From 4 Run Deficit to Beat Pensacola
(Lookouts.com) CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — LaMonte Wade hit a solo home run in the seventh inning, and Edgar Corcino homered and had three hits, driving in three as the Chattanooga Lookouts topped the Pensacola Blue Wahoos 7-4 on Wednesday.
John Curtiss got Angelo Gumbs to ground out with runners on second and third to end the game for his fourth save of the season.
The home run by Wade gave the Lookouts a 5-4 lead.
The Lookouts added to their lead in the eighth when Corcino hit a two-run single.
Chattanooga trailed 4-0 before rallying for the victory.
Todd Van Steensel (2-0) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while Alex Powers (1-2) took the loss in the Southern League game.
