Third and final Boynton Tower renovated and open
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly cut the ribbon! So, that means it’s official.
The third and final tower of Boynton Drive is now open.
Three towers and a community room have been renovated thanks to this $13 million project.
Mayor Tim Kelly says, “It’s no secret that we have a shortage of housing in Chattanooga and a real affordable housing problem. So, having these units come back online is a big day for Chattanooga. 250 total units is a great start.”
The money for this project came from HUD’s Capital Fund through former Mayor Andy Berke.
