Transfer QB Robert Riddle Showing Off Arm Talent in Mocs Practice
Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Mercer transfer Robert Riddle is fighting to be the Mocs starting quarterback. Riddle is a Chattanooga native and McCallie grad. Injuries hampered his career at Mercer, but it appears he’s getting healthy, and Riddle has impressed head coach Rusty Wright with his arm talent.
Said Wright:”He has gotten a lot better every week. That ankle injury has slowed him down for sure, but he has gotten to a point now where he can function and do things, and he’s getting better every week.”
Reporter:”What skill set does he bring to your team?”
Said Wright:”Smart guy. Good arm. His arm is probably one of the strongest ones out of the bunch. Could put the ball in play. Got good touch on it. His arm is a big deal.”
