Ringgold Baseball Team Beats Appling Co 12-1 to Advance to the Elite Eight

Ringgold-(WDEF) Ringgold beat Appling Co 12-1 in five innings in game 3 of their state baseball playoff series.
The Tigers scored 5 runs in the first inning. Rhett Baldwin had a 2-run homer and Noah Parrish added a solo homer.
Ringgold added three more runs in the third, and four runs in the fourth. In the 4th inning, Parrish added
another solo homerun, while Nathan Camp had a 3 run homer. Camp was also the winning pitcher.
With the victory the Tigers advance to the Elite Eight.
They’ll host North Hall on Thursday at 5pm in a doubleheader.
Game 3 will be Friday if necessary starting at 2pm.
