Trial Date Set for Chattanooga Teen Accused in Quadruple Shooting

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF)- The Chattanooga teen accused in a quadruple shooting last January will be tried in September.
Judge Barry Steelman set a trial date for Cortez Sims for September 27th.
Police say Sims killed Talitha Bowman, and shot a baby and two others in the College Hill Courts community.
He’s charged with first-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
