Woman charged with stomping on flags at Red Clay State Park

CLEVELAND (WDEF) – Park rangers arrested a woman for desecrating flags at Red Clay State Park on Thursday night.

The original report was that she was burning flags.

But rangers say Emily Arianna Warren had taken down both the United States and Tennessee flags and stomped on them.

They say she admitted this wasn’t first time she had done it at the park.

And she also has gone swimming in the blue hole inside the park that is off limits.

Warren has been charged with desecration of a flag, vandalism and trespassing.
