Georgia man dies in tragic crash

POLK COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Georgian died after a tragic single vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

The incident reportedly happened in Polk County on U.S. Highway 411 and claimed the life of 71-year-old Larry Underwood.

He was driving southbound in inclement weather when his vehicle hydroplaned and struck a tree.

Tennessee Highway Patrol responded and investigated the crash.
