Lake Winnepesaukah adds a new ride this summer

LAKEVIEW, Georgia (WDEF) – Lake Winnepesaukah announces a new ride for the upcoming summer season.

The amusement park in north Georgia will add the Twister! this year.

Officials say the ride lifts you in the air, flips, turns and somersaults.

“This is an exciting addition to our ride lineup,” stated Talley Green of Lake Winnepesuakah. “We know our guests are going to ‘flip’ for it!”

Lake Winnie opens on May 5th.

The SoakYa Water Park opens on Saturday May 28.

The park is selling a Passport to Fun pass allowing 8 visits for $90.90 if purchased by May 27.
