Silverdale Softball Team Posts 20th Straight Win in Beating Marion Co in Region Tournament

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The Silverdale softball team picked up their 20th straight win on Monday as they blanked Marion Co 7-0 in the opening round
of their Region Tournament. The Seahawks advance to the Region finals on Wednesday, while Marion County sees their season come to an end.
Silverdale took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Emily Harkleroad had a lead-off double. She later scored from third on a base hit
from Savannah Turner.
Silverdale then blew the game open in the bottom of the fourth when they scored five runs.
Harkleroad got the victory pitching a two-hit shut-out.
