CCS Softball Season Comes to an End Following Loss in Region Tournament
Chattanooga-(WDEF) The CCS softball team saw their season come to an end on Monday as they lost to Macon Co 5-4 in 8 innings in the opening
round of the Region Tournament. Chattanooga Christian took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth. They scored the first run on an error, and
then Madison Blevins drove in Shelby Houts to make it 2-0.
The Chargers added another run in the fifth on a double to the wall by Rachel Kay that scored Madison Vandergriff.
CCS led it 4-2 in the top of the 7th when Macon County scored twice to tie the game, and then they won it in the 8th inning.
