Cause of fatal Amnicola crash still a mystery

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are still investigating a fatal crash on Amnicola Highway from Thursday morning.

36 year old Allen A. Brunet Jr. was in a van heading north in the 4500 block of Amnicola Highway approaching Highway 153.

Just before the railroad overpass, the van veered off the highway on the left and hit a tree.

Brunet was pinned inside the vehicle and killed.

Investigators are trying to determine what made him veer off the road.
