Guilty verdict in Fentanyl Patch baby death case

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A jury has convicted Jaqueline Escareno in the death of 23 month old Demarcus Bryant.

Prosecutors say he died from a fentanyl patch put on his back.

Before the verdict was read, the child’s mother and aunt vented about their frustrations over the trial.
