Nick Saban Recalls Impact of Big Crowd at His First A-Day Game

Bama coach Nick Saban will take part in his 10th A-Day game Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
He wouldn’t mind a repeat of his first one, which featured basically a sell-out crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Saban says that moment really helped turn the Tide’s fortunes.
Said Saban-“The energy, the enthusiasm, the passion that 91-thousand people showing up to support the program, which I think probably did as much to establish the foundation and the spirit around here to support players. Make it special again for the players to play here.”
