Lakesite Family Cites Years of Vandalism

LAKESITE, TN (WDEF) – A Lakesite family says they’re fed up with the vandalism that has been going in their community.

A couple who does not want to be identified, tells us neighborhood vandals are causing a lot of damage to their home and property on Old Hixson Pike.

They tell us someone put bullet holes in their foundation, dented their vehicles, and is now stalking them.

Reports have been made with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

We asked deputies, at what point does the vandalism become more serious in the eyes of a law enforcement officer?

They tell us when threats of bodily harm are apparent.

One resident says, "How fed up am I?  You don’t want to know. It’s not a funny issue anymore, you know what I’m talking about?

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says if you or someone else witnesses vandalism, or if you have surveillence video, it will help your case.
